Welcome to

Manipur Public Service Commission

Under Article 315(4) of the Constitution, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) agreed to function as the Public Service Commission of the State of Manipur till October 21, 1972. On October 3, 1972 the Governor of Manipur issued the order of constitution of the Manipur Public Service Commission under Article 318 with one Chairman and two Members.

Message from Chairman, MPSC

Dear Current and future exam takers of exams being conducted by MPSC,

I wholeheartedly wish each and every one of you the very best in your endeavours.

As Chairman of the MPSC my foremost concerns were to enable conduct of the delayed recruitment exams and also strive to ensure that recruitment exams in the future are held regularly, so that our youth can plan and prepare in a systematic and anxiety free atmosphere.

Together, we can make this happen.

From our side, I assure you of a fair and unbiased selection process. Do not waste time on rumour mongers or those few who try to distract you from your goals of giving your best. I can assure you that the selection process will not be influenced by any external considerations and the only criteria will be that the deserving will get the fruits of their labour.

If anybody believes otherwise, I assure you that such beliefs are misplaced and any effort to influence the Commission is a waste of time and energy. I also believe that any such attempts indicate a lack of integrity, and any person lacking in integrity is definitely not what I am looking for to serve the interests of the people of Manipur.

Believe in yourselves and take your exams with the confidence that whatever be the outcome, the result is based solely on your performance and nothing else.

Once again, I wish each and every one of you the very best.

With all good wishes,

Laisram Angam Chand Singh

(Chairman, MPSC)
